The PCOM is focused on meeting key professional challenges, and works to bring solutions and to create tools that help members with their work; it also works to represent the interests of archives and their management by providing advisory services and representation in international cultural heritage initiatives, and technological and governmental representation bodies. PCOM expert groups are also represented in the conference.
